Wherever we look right now, finances are right up there with being the number 1 cause of stress, 2020 has been a year of incredible financial stress for so many, income, jobs, finances have changed overnight, in fact they are still changing and the impact of this will be seen for years to come.
Financial vulnerability causes great stress and I know a little something of this, its part of my story and how I ended up setting up my business.
My life literally turned upside down and any financial security I had was gone almost overnight, I will never forget that feeling of financial vulnerability. It was however, at that point, I made a decision that I would never be in that financial position again and would do whatever it took to ensure I never felt that way again.
For many people having enough money to just cover the basics can be a struggle.
No matter what finances mean to us, it is a very personal cirucmstance, what matters is how we manage them that has a huge impact directly and indirectly on our lives.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, states that if Food, Water and Shelter are not met, the psychological impact is huge, financial problems can take a huge toll on your mental and physical health, your relationships, and your overall quality of life
